Brady is 5!

Brady,

You are 5 years old!  That feels so weird to type that.  How in the world buddy?  You are growing up right before our eyes and like I always tell you, 5 is the oldest I am going to allow you to get ok?

This year you had a birthday party at a playground and also had a nacho bar and a transformers cake.  You requested to have all of this and we had such a fun party.  A lot of your friends and family came and you got some really cool gifts!

You finished the year of Pre-K and are all registered to go to kindergarten in the fall.  We just can't believe you are ready for this milestone!  You are doing such a great job in school and know almost all of your letters, lots of letter sounds, are beginning to read simple words, and everything else you need to know before heading to kindergarten next year.

You are so funny and honestly don't even mean to be sometimes.  You are pretty much always in a good mood and are just so much fun to be around.  You are our little class clown and bring so much joy to everyone's life that you meet.

You make the best middle brother and really play well with Owen or Reece.  You are seriously the peacemaker and love to please.  You are my little helper and love to help around the house or with anything I need for Reece.  Most of the time you are very obedient and respectful, but sometimes you get a little rough with your hands and have to be reminded to follow directions.  I know some of this is you being a boy, and we love you for you kid.  Also...you keeping saying you want to be a chef when you grow up, so you love to help mommy cook!

You are definitely our little athlete.  You are still playing soccer and absolutely love it!  You are getting more aggressive and have made several goals this year.  I can't wait to see what sports you play as you get older and keep pushing yourself to be the best you can be.  Right now, you tell us you want to play soccer, basketball, football, and maybe baseball.  So, we will be busy ha!

You don't really have a favorite toy to play, but are getting into legos more and more.  You LOVE to be outside and like to ride your bike, use sidewalk chalk, play on the swingset or trampoline, or kick your soccer ball.  You also love to read books.  You also love to dress up and pretend.  Basically, you are just a ball of fun at all times.

You don't really have a favorite food, but pretty much will eat anything we serve you.  This year, you have finally been introduced to some new foods!  We are still avoiding dairy, peanuts, and eggs, but have introduced everything else into your diet and you are doing great with it!

We absolutely love being your parents and can't wait to continue watching you grow and flourish into the man God created you to be.  You are our Brady bear and we thank God daily for bringing you into our lives.
