How in the world are you already 5 months old? You are definitely our easy going, go with the flow 3rd child.
We didn't do any measurements this month, but you are definitely growing! You are wearing 6 month and 6-12 month onesies and sleepers. The 3 month ones started being too small!
You LOVE to talk and be talked to and smile so much! You still make this high pitched screech sound when you're tired and if you have gas. Your belly laughs are still the best sound in the world!
You are still in your crib and are doing a great job. You have recently learned how to roll to your belly after several weeks of practice and will get your arm and leg stuck in the crack and aren't happy about it. While on your belly you try so hard to move and crawl but all you end up doing is spinning in circles. We know you will be crawling soon!
You are eating between 5 times a day and have recently started a tiny bit of cereal once a day. You aren't too sure about cereal yet and make the funniest faces when we give it to you. We plan to start giving you baby food this month. You still take 2 1/2-3 naps, but your night time sleep has changed this month. You go to bed usually between 8-9 and then wake up twice in the middle of the night with gas pains. You still have a hard time pooping and I think that's the problem. Recently we started you on a probiotic to see if that helps at all. We know we will figure out what's going on and you will be back to sleeping as well as you were.
You still love your play mat and bouncer and to grab toys on them. You now also like to move any toy to your mouth and roll around with them. You use the bumbo and jumperoo all the time now and LOVE jumping so much. Your legs just now reach the floor without a pillow underneath you. You love to play with the toys while you're jumping too.
You are still doing great at bottles with breast milk, but did not like the formula bottle daddy tried to give you one time.
You still love baths and just this last week switched to the bath seat. You LOVED it and felt so big being able to play with your brothers and grab all the toys around you. You have been back to 2 pools and liked the water.
We all love you so much our little love bug and we love having you in our lives!
