You are 15 pounds (40th %), 26 inches (83rd %), and your head is in the 88th % (thanks to your big headed parents.) You are wearing some 3 month onesies still but the 6 month and 6-12 month ones fit you better since you're a long little guy. We also found out at your 4 month appointment (that you had to get shots at "sniff sniff") that you have what's called a stork bite on the back of your head. It's basically a red birth mark that you could have the rest of your life. We think this makes you pretty unique.
You are still so happy and talkative and are so fun to be around. You love to make a motor boat sound which produces all kinds of slobber, do this throat spitty sound, and have recently started doing a cat screeching noise when you're tired. You have also started doing some pretty cute belly laughs. You like when your daddy tickles you and you sometimes will see someone you recognize and will let out a sweet giggle. You are always being told that you are such an easy going and happy baby and we definitely agree.
You still like your thumb but aren't sucking it as much lately. We do notice you sucking your fist at times too. You are such a little slobberer and we have started having you wear bibs more because of this. We wonder if you will be an early teether since you drool so much.
You have officially moved to your room. You do great in your crib and we are happy to have our room back although we still can hear you on the monitor. When I check on you or get you in the morning, you have sometimes turned all the way around from kicking so much. You also sometimes sleep with your hands covering your face or with your hands up above your head like you're saying "touchdown".
You are eating between 5-6 times a day, take 2 1/2-3 naps, and sleep anywhere from 11-12 hour stretches at night. You are such a good sleeper and I have to wake you up during the day sometimes to make sure you get your feedings. You remind us a lot of how Owen was with sleeping as a baby. Also, you only poop once every 3 days which the dr said is completely normal. Mommy and daddy aren't complaining haha!
You are still such a little snuggle bug and love to be talked to. You are starting to look all around the room while being rocked now and will push your little head up to look at who is holding you. You also love to stand up now and will smile so big while doing it!
You still love your play mat and bouncer and have started grabbing at the toys on them. If you have a toy now you will hold it and bring it to your mouth. It is so sweet watching you figure out the world around you and see you learn how to use your little hands. You have tried out the bumbo and the jumperoo a couple of times now too! You can roll from your stomach to your back and can go halfway from your back to your stomach. While on your stomach, you love to push up as tall as you can to look all around.
You are still doing great at bottles and have taken a few this month so mommy could have a night out and mommy and daddy could have a date night, and at other times. You are quite the eater little man and can take anywhere from 6-8 ounces in a bottle. You have grown a lot this month and that might be why you love to eat so much haha! Pumping is kind of annoying but is worth it at times!
You went to the pool for the first time in Prairie Grove and were only in the water for a few minutes but you loved it. You have always liked water so I thought you would like being in the pool. You also still love bath time.
You love your brothers so much and they love to interact with you more and more. It is so fun to see the three of you together and to see the relationship you all of forming with each other.
We love you little dude and can't wait to keep watching you grow up. You are a blessing to all of us!
